Perhaps One of the Coolest Apps to Come Out in a Long Time
Mozilla's Prism. All it does is make a web app feel like a desktop app, but I have to tell you, it's a great feeling.
Basically you just install Prism, then run it and it will ask for a URL. Put in a URL (eg: http://mail.google.com) and bam, you've got a desktop mail client that you can run from your Quick Launch bar or desktop. Pretty nice huh? Try it out, it actually seems pretty stable already.
